Sup guys.

I've been soooo tired lately. My sleep quality was just at an all-time low for the past few days, but I think last night was better. I say "think" because I had a dream in which I told someone I slept poorly, so.

Then again I also had a dream in which my cat Soda was like an inch tall, but there was a normal-sized version of her who tried to swat/squish the tiny her. So. Yeah.

It was actually COOL here last night. Thanks, rain! Or whatever weather pattern I have to thank.

I've been kind of bummed about my art lately because I (wrongly) judge its worth based on how it sells at anime conventions. It's just not possible to do that without being harsh on myself, because at a con people act very strangely with their money. For me it's not a matter of wanting to sell artwork of OCs, it's that I've developed a "strange" style that turns some con-goers off. For AnimeFest I've put a lot of my new art that you guys have seen here on DA onto laminated badges, to test the waters a little more. I do know that postcards and bookmarks are really slow sellers most of the time, so I've decided to put those on hold for a bit.

It just sucks because, say I do some art just because it's popular; it's reflected in the art itself and people don't buy it, because I didn't care about it.

But when I really do care about something, that doesn't mean it'll sell. I know I'm not the only one with this problem, it's just kind of depressing when you start measuring your personal worth based on what art sells at anime cons. Ugh.
